The role requires strong expertise in SAP (FI/CO, MM, PP modules), cost allocation, variance analysis, and financial reporting. The Senior Cost Accountant ensures accurate cost data, supports management decisions with analytical insights, and drives continuous improvement in cost efficiency and profitability. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppb1. Cost Accounting Analysis /b /pulliPerform detailed bcost analysis /b for products, projects, and services. /liliMaintain and monitor bstandard costs /b, BOM (Bill of Materials), and routing updates in SAP. /liliConduct monthly bcost variance analysis /b (material, labor, overhead) and investigate deviations. /liliReview and validate binventory costing /b, production orders, and WIP valuations. /liliSupport costing for bnew products, new projects /b, and changes in manufacturing processes. /li /ulpb2. SAP Financial Operations /b /pulliManage costing activities using bSAP FI/CO, MM, and PP modules /b. /liliEnsure accurate data flow from bmaterial master, cost centers, activity types, work centers, /b and BOM. /liliPerform bSAP month-end closing /b including settlement of production orders, cost centers, and internal orders. /liliGenerate and analyze SAP reports such as bCK11N, CK40N, MB5B, KSB1, KSBT, S_ALR Reports /b, and more. /li /ulpb3. Budgeting Forecasting /b /pulliParticipate in the preparation of bannual budgets /b, rolling forecasts, and cost estimates. /liliMonitor actual costs versus budget and present monthly variance reports. /liliAssist management with bcost simulations, what-if analysis, /b and cost reduction opportunities. /li /ulpb4. Internal Controls Compliance /b /pulliEnsure compliance with bIFRS /b, internal policies, and audit requirements. /liliMaintain strong cost accounting controls in SAP to ensure data accuracy and transparency. /liliCoordinate with internal and external auditors on cost and inventory-related matters. /li /ulpb5.
