Overview :
We have an exciting opportunity for a senior sales professional whose main responsibilities will be managing the corporate Director and VP-level relationships with our hotel chain and management company partners, and identifying business development opportunities with these partners. You will carry a new-booked business and renewal quota. This will require demonstrating solution-selling and total account management skills, while effectively managing your Sales Development Representative. The goal:
to grow overall partnerships and increase Cvent's market share of clients' organizational spend.
The Hospitality Cloud provides hotels with a targeted advertising platform designed to reach event planners as they research destinations, find venues, and source groups and meetings business. As one of Cvent’s largest and fastest-growing divisions, we are looking for experienced, collaborative, and creative sellers to help expand our value to the hospitality industry, reaching beyond marketing into analytics, productivity tools, mobile technology, and more.
This position offers opportunities to travel to Cvent’s international offices for training alongside our global Sales team.
In This Role, You Will :
Develop current relationships and identify new contacts to meet and exceed revenue expectations.
Identify and pursue targeted Key Accounts, including new partners, and develop plans to penetrate these accounts.
Travel up to 30% to represent Cvent at major tradeshows, hotel sales conferences, host seminars, or attend client meetings.
Manage your revenue pipeline effectively to maximize new business opportunities.
Exceed revenue targets for advertising and software sales by closing new business and managing existing accounts.
Analyze performance data and provide insights to stakeholders.
Balance the needs of multiple stakeholders within Key Accounts.
Collaborate with property-level sales teams and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and share feedback.
Manage and mentor a Sales Associate supporting your activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Here's What You Need :
University degree or equivalent.
Ability to speak Spanish to a business standard.
Extensive experience selling to and managing hotel accounts at the corporate level.
Familiarity with high outbound call volume sales environments.
Passion for technology and digital marketing.
Strong analytical skills, data analysis experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Effective prospecting, consultative selling, demonstration, negotiation, and understanding of operation/process flows.
Strong initiative and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and contribute to team initiatives.
