SENIOR COMMISSIONING SPECIALIST
Data Center Cooling
The Senior Commissioning Specialist is responsible to provide professional on‑site services for the cooling range of products produced by Schneider Electric to its customers, including commissioning, technical on‑site analysis, and resolution of customer issues. The Regional Cooling Service Representative primarily focuses on complex & critical projects, including troubleshooting & on‑site support for Cooling Equipment & Systems (air cooling, air‑or water‑cooled chillers, CRAC/CRAH units).
Location & commitments
* Candidates are welcome from: Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Spain
* Possibility to work remotely
* Extensive international travel (70%) within Europe, mostly: Germany, France, BENELUX, Nord European, UK and other destinations (financial bonus for travel)
* EU passport holder is mandatory

Main responsibilities
* Perform startup & commissioning on all equipment across the entire cooling product range
* Evaluate unit installation (e.g., quality of pipes for units and hydraulic circuit for chillers)
* Evaluate system installation & operational conditions
* Perform onsite adjustments to optimize unit performance
* Diagnose failures related to quality issues, software, or operational conditions (root‑cause analysis)
* Collaborate with Schneider Electric service engineers & partners during site interventions
* Document, label, and return all defective parts used in repairs to designated disposal/repair locations
* Train Schneider Electric customers on basic equipment operations
* Maintain preventive & corrective maintenance for cooling systems

Requirements
* Thorough understanding of HVAC principles, specifically cooling, and basic electrical knowledge
* Ability to perform duties with general direction; work is largely independent of other team members
* Compliance with all safety policies, practices, and procedures
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business procedures, technical documents, and regulations
* Excellent written communication skills for reports, correspondence, and manuals
* Problem‑solving skills: data collection, fact establishment, and conclusion drawing, including interpreting technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form
* Multi‑tasking capability
* Willingness to travel internationally 70% of the time (EU passport holder required)
Education & Experience
* University degree in Mechanical or Electrotechnical engineering
* Minimum 5 years of commissioning or field service repair experience with HVAC or cooling equipment
* Confirmed experience with Cooling Equipment & Solutions (air cooling, air‑or water‑cooled chillers)
* Experience with precision cooling is an advantage
* Experience with HVAC, generators, and fire detection/suppression systems
* Fluent communication in English (B2+ level minimum)
* Flexibility, reliability, focus on technical detail, customer orientation, teamwork, and leadership skills
* Proficiency with MS Office, Acrobat, and AutoCAD
