**Your Role**:
As part of the **Engineering and Technology team**, reporting to the Engineering & Technology Manager, you’ll take the lead in transitioning projects from design to operations. From conception to commissioning, your expertise will shape the success of our processes.
**What You’ll Do**:
- ** Lead project implementation**: Act as the bridge between Engineering/Technology and Operations, Maintenance, HSE, and QA/QC teams.
- ** Ensure successful design and start-up**: Oversee process areas, both new and revamped, ensuring their seamless integration.
- ** Drive innovation**: Develop and implement optimization strategies and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- ** Solve process challenges**: Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
- ** Share knowledge**: Participate in intercompany technological groups, fostering best practices and innovation.
- ** Support daily operations**: Optimize process settings to maintain efficiency and quality, detecting deviations early.
**What We’re Looking For**:
We value both experience and potential. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A degree in **Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or Chemistry**.
- At least **5 years of experience** in the chemical/biochemical industry, with a focus on process engineering or production.
- ** Hands-on commissioning and start-up experience**.
- Strong collaboration skills: able to engage with machinery vendors, raw material suppliers, and cross-functional teams across all levels.
- Experience in **GMP environments** and qualification document preparation is a plus.
- Familiarity with **MS Project** and Spanish labor safety laws (**PRL certification, 50h**).
- A **proactive and autonomous mindset**, with excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
- Fluent English (minimum B2 level); knowledge of Spanish or Catalan is highly valued.
