We are seeking a GEO Technical Analyst with a strong technical and analytical profile to support our Digital Performance strategy in the era of AI-driven and generative search.
This role focuses on ensuring that our digital ecosystem (websites, content, data structures and analytics) is highly discoverable, understandable and trustworthy for Generative AI systems and Large Language Models (LLMs), such as Google Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity and similar engines.
The position sits at the intersection of Web Analytics, Technical SEO, structured data, and analytics governance, working closely with Web Analytics, Tech Squads, IT and data stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the definition and execution of GEO strategies aimed at improving brand presence, accuracy and visibility in AI-generated responses.
* Ensure that BI web properties are correctly represented, cited and attributed in generative search experiences.
* Optimize website structure and content using, JSON-LD and semantic markup to provide clear, machine-readable context to AI agents.
* Support the adoption of entity-based content models over traditional keyword-only approaches.
* Technical Audits for Generative Engines
* Perform technical and semantic audits to assess how generative AI engines parse, interpret and reference our content.
* Identify risks related to incomplete, ambiguous or inaccurate representation of BI content in AI responses.
* Collaborate with IT and Web teams to manage robots.Txt, server rules and bot access for AI crawlers ensuring the right balance between visibility, security and compliance.
* Support governance decisions regarding AI access to web data.
* Work on technical foundations that strengthen content authority, trustworthiness and source credibility, supporting potential citation in AI-generated answers.
* Partner with SEO, content and analytics teams to ensure consistency of information across platforms.
* Define and track GEO-related metrics and proxy KPIs, such as presence in AI-generated answers, attribution signals and consistency of brand mentions.
* Analyze data from tools such as Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, log files or custom datasets to identify AI-related traffic or patterns.
* Work closely with developers, data engineers and analytics teams to support structured content delivery, APIs, and data models that facilitate machine understanding.
* Contribute to automation, data extraction and quality checks using Python, SQL or scripting tools where relevant.
* Analyze how different search intents and user prompts surface BI content in generative environments.
* Stay up to date with changes in AI search behavior and translate them into actionable recommendations for internal teams.
Technical Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in Technical SEO, Web Analytics or Data Analysis roles with strong technical exposure.
* Solid understanding of semantic SEO, structured data, entities and knowledge graphs.
* Hands-on experience with HTML, JavaScript and scripting languages such as Python or SQL for analysis and automation.
* Strong background in web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics, Search Console).
* Familiarity with how LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) retrieve and consume web content.
* Experience working with large datasets and analytical workflows.
* Advanced English level.
Desired Skills
* Strong analytical mindset, focused on data quality, signal validation and root-cause analysis.
* Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience with experimentation, testing or comparative analysis to validate hypotheses.
* Basic understanding of NLP concepts (entities, sentiment, intent, embeddings) is a plus.
* Proactive and adaptable attitude in a rapidly evolving AI and search landscape.
