The Regional Quality Systems & Project Manager's main responsibility is to support monitoring, controlling, and reporting on BQ EMEA bakery performance, including Quality & Food Safety, compliance with standards, and strategic initiatives. This role covers bakeries producing for QSR brands within Bimbo EMEA.
Key Job Responsibilities :
1. KPI governance & reporting :
Consolidates, reports, and analyzes Quality & Food Safety KPIs to assess performance against Business Plan objectives, identify top priorities, and monitor progress on critical action plans related to recalls, complaints, incidents, and audit findings.
2. Compliance monitoring :
Monitors compliance with customer, legal, and internal BQ-GB Quality & Food Safety standards. Supports communication and implementation of new standards and investigates deviations in the Quality System.
3. Systems Management & Training :
Provides technical support and training on customer platforms (e.G., McD SIM, OnPoint, Amabis, RBI SPEQ, KFC TraceOne) and BQ Quality systems (e.G., Freshability, Power BI, SPC). Recommends continuous improvements.
4. Projects Management :
Manages execution of customer projects and BQ strategic initiatives following organizational project management methodologies.
5. CAPEX monitoring :
Tracks Food Safety & Quality CAPEX/investments against plan, justifies delays or cancellations.
6. Document Management :
Oversees Quality & Food Safety Document Control & Management System.
7. Supports special data requests, organization, and presentation of information.
8. Prepares internal reviews, meetings, and training materials.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Co-Pilot).
5. Data management and analysis skills, including experience with Excel Pivot tables and Business Intelligence tools like Power BI.
6. Experience with Project Management tools (Gantt charts, MS Planner, Smartsheet).

Education and Work Experience :
1. Minimum 4 years’ experience in the Food Manufacturing industry, preferably in bakeries.
2. Knowledge of GMP and Food Safety Standards.
3. Experience with QSR customers (e.G., McDonald’s, RBI, KFC) is a plus.
4. Language proficiency in English (B2 or higher) and basic Spanish understanding.
Position can be based anywhere in Continental Europe where BQ or Bimbo operates a bakery.
