Delivery Manager Role
The Delivery Manager is a key business and technical leader responsible for managing delivery, governance, and people for a solution developed by several agile teams. The ultimate goal is to align business needs with IT development and operation processes of large-scale IT solutions.
The Delivery Manager has end-to-end responsibility for the complete lifecycle of product delivery, playing a key role in helping teams deliver value. Responsibilities include development process planning, management reviews, and problem-solving. Active involvement throughout the development lifecycle is crucial for the success of the teams.
Responsibilities
* Guide teams to appropriate outcomes as the IT Delivery Lead.
* Optimize development lifecycle processes based on delivery metrics.
* Contribute to backlog refinement activities to align business and IT needs.
* Ensure business objectives are understood and agreed upon by key stakeholders.
* Prepare development status reports for portfolio review, including milestones and external dependencies.
* Manage budget responsibilities.
Desired Achievements
* Over 3 years of management experience in IT environments leading large teams (20 FTE or more).
* More than 2 years of experience in cloud, IT solutions, or business transformation.
* Over 3 years of experience in agile environments; experience with full SAFe is an advantage.
* Experience in transforming delivery units.
* Agile mindset and caring performance.
* Medium level of general IT overview.
* Advanced level in software development.
* Experience working in an international, multicultural environment.
* English proficiency at least at B2 level; German language skills are a plus.
