The Clinical Trials Production Operations (CTPO) Study Startup unit is the industry leader in cloud-based study startup software for the global Life Sciences industry.
Opportunity
The Full Stack Software Engineer will develop SaaS platform and applications in Oracle's HDI Clinical Trials Production Operations group.
This person will work independently and at a senior level to build out our technology platform using Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and SPA frameworks like Preact and OJet.
You'll collaborate with a solid engineering team passionate about building the first study startup platform of its kind for pharmaceutical clients.
Responsibilities:
* Advance the state of the art in building SaaS products with Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and OJet.
* Develop full-stack enterprise applications that streamline workflow processes in an important industry.
* Collaborate with top-notch engineers, PMs, and QA specialists.
* Operate as a member of the CTPO SSU agile development team.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years experience in full-stack development.
* Multiple years of experience with dynamic language web dev frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Django, or Grails.
* Experience with backend server applications using Node.js.
* Demonstrable experience building web components using technologies like Preact, OJet, and JavaScript.
* Strong data modeling and SQL skills.
* Proven experience with unit testing and test frameworks.
* Git or similar distributed SCM tools.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrable expertise in enterprise SaaS architectures, service-oriented architectures, cloud-based deployments, reporting, and analytics is a plus.
