At METT Hotel & Beach Resort Marbella, part of the globally renowned Sunset Hospitality Group, we are looking for a strategic, results-driven, and inspiring Director of Sales & Marketing.
This is more than a leadership role; it is an opportunity tosteer the commercial heart of a vibrant lifestyle resort located on the iconic Costa del Sol. We need a visionary who can blend luxury brand positioning with aggressive revenue growth.
Your Mission
Your primary goal is to lead the hotel's overall sales and marketing strategy. You will develop and execute sophisticated commercial plans to maximize revenue across all business units—including rooms, F&B, spa, and events—while ensuring every initiative resonates with the unique METT brand DNA.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Execution: Develop and drive the Annual Commercial Plan and hit ambitious sales targets.
* Team Leadership: Manage and inspire the Sales & Marketing team with clear direction and professional mentorship.
* Growth & Partnerships: Identify new business opportunities and manage high-value accounts across travel agencies, tour operators, MICE, and corporate segments.
* Brand Elevation: Oversee all PR, branding, and digital campaigns to amplify the hotel's visibility and global demand.
* Revenue Synergy: Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing and distribution.
* Global Representation: Act as the face of the resort at prestigious industry events, trade shows, and international sales missions.
The Ideal Profile
We are seeking a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the luxury lifestyle market.
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a senior sales and marketing leadership role within luxury hospitality (resort experience is highly preferred).
* Education: Degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
* Linguistic Mastery: Total fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
* Expertise: In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, brand strategy, and emerging market trends.
* Skills: Exceptional negotiation, analytical capabilities, and a proven track record of strategic planning.
