We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join a major German automotive client, playing a key role in designing, operating and securing scalable cloud-native environments across Europe.
You will bridge architecture and operations, ensuring high availability, automation excellence and security-by-design across the deployment lifecycle.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
* Design scalable, resilient cloud architectures based on business needs
* Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Helm, Kubernetes)
* Manage multi-cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Pulumi)
* Define secure deployment strategies (rollouts, rollbacks, versioning)
* Implement IAM, encryption (BYOK) and end-to-end security practices
* Design Backup & Disaster Recovery strategies
* Implement logging and monitoring frameworks to ensure observability and reliability
🛠 Technical Requirements
* Strong experience with Kubernetes (cluster management & optimization)
* Solid expertise in Terraform or Pulumi (IaC)
* Hands-on experience with Helm and modern CI/CD pipelines
* Knowledge of IAM, encryption standards and security best practices
* Experience designing resilient, highly available architectures
* 5+ years in DevOps, SRE or Systems Engineering roles
👥 Profile
* Strong problem-solving mindset
* Experience in large-scale IT environments
* Comfortable working in cross-functional European teams
* Fluent English (C1 level)
Certifications such as CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate or AWS DevOps are a plus.
Location: 100% Remote
Schedule: 40h/week. Flexible, with reduced hours on Fridays
Language: English (C1), Spanish (at least B2)
