What We’re Looking For :
* A culinary degree or equivalent qualification (preferred).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English and Spanish.
* Legal right to work in Europe, including visas or permits.
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants.
* Experience with pre-opening kitchen setups is advantageous.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills.
* Experience with Forbes or LQA-rated properties is a plus.
* Extensive knowledge of international cuisines, culinary techniques, and food trends.
* Knowledge of HACCP principles and health and safety standards.
* Exceptional time management and multitasking skills.
* Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and oversee food orders.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Chef De Cuisine to create innovative menus using seasonal, local ingredients.
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality and presentation standards.
* Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen team, promoting continuous learning.
* Contribute to menu development with new dishes and techniques.
* Prioritize guest satisfaction, addressing dietary needs and special requests.
* Work with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
* Manage inventory, control costs, and minimize waste.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Support administrative tasks and step in for the Chef De Cuisine when needed.
* Identify and implement improvements in kitchen operations and staff performance.
* Maintain effective communication within the culinary team and with other departments.
