YOUR TASKS
- You work in collaboration with the Hotel Manager and Assistant Hotel Manager to ensure the smooth running of the F&B; operations (including the Service & Bar departments)
- You make sure that all internal and external standards and processes are in place and you are in contact with all F&B; suppliers for an optimal commercial relationship
- You are responsible for the control of the supply of goods, stock control and costs as well as monthly reports (inventories and P&L; analysis)
- You are responsible for the implementation, monitoring and improvement of MEININGER quality standards and ensure compliance with regulations (HACCP, safety, etc.)
- You manage the F&B; team, recruit together with Hotel Manager, guide and develop the diverse team of around 10 people (Supervisor, employees and Barman)
- You train, coach and mentor your team with an individual approach, aiming for everyone to perform to their full potential
- You’re adaptable and understand working on all days of the week, sometimes early / sometimes late, during weekends and on public holidays comes with the job
- Finally, you’re a great colleague, not afraid to jump in to support other departments now and then
YOUR PROFILE
- You have min. 2 years of F&B; experience in a hotel/hostel and/or in the HoReCA sector, including experience in a management position.
- You act as a role model and enjoy working shifts and together with your team.
- You have experience in conducting F&B; training and coaching.
- You have a keen eye for details, recognize opportunities for improvement and implement them
- You are confident in dealing with numbers, cash register systems and cash register closings (knowledge of Addipos or Sihot is an advantage)
- You are solution-oriented, show strong commitment and an entrepreneurial mindset
- You are convinced of and know the advantages of working in a diverse, multicultural environment. With your open communication, you contribute to the team spirit and support your team in achieving common goals.
- You are fluent in English and Spanish (min. B2 level) and any other languages are an advantage.
