At G+D Mobile Security, the world leader in secure telecommunications systems via SIM / eSIM, we are looking for a Network Administrator in Barcelona.
Your Tasks:
* Ensure our services run smoothly by overseeing the day-to-day operations of our data centers.
* Work closely with our Infrastructure Operation Engineers, Application Engineers, and Second Level Support Engineers to optimize efficiency, performance, and availability.
* Lead troubleshooting of network/firewall issues and network performance.
* Facilitate the efforts during the transition/transformation of the infrastructure.
* Analyze all aspects of the existing IT Network and provide recommendations to enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability and scalability in accordance to GSMA standards.
* Monitor and manage our environments by integrating telemetry and observability.
* Continuous service improvement with focus on optimization, efficiency and high availability.
* Evaluate cutting-edge technologies and integrate them into the existing systems.
Your Profile:
* University degree, Certificate of Higher Education in Computer Sciences and/or related technical/engineering.
* Professional experience in complex network and platform setups on-premise datacenter operations.
* Knowledge of Cisco products like DCNM, Nexus, NX-OS, Load Balancing, Firewalls as well as strong Linux skills.
* Familiarity with Ansible and Nagios.
* Good understanding of compliance and information security requirements in service operations.
* Analytical thinking, problem-solving and ownership mentality combined with drive for continuous self-learning and improvement.
* Comfort with collaboration, open communication, and interaction across functional teams.
* Good level in English written and verbal.
