Description
The Cook position at Sir Victor requires a detail-oriented, reliable individual to join our growing team. You will manage all aspects of the kitchen, ensuring a great dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities include maintaining quality, increasing profitability, and working efficiently in shifts, including holidays, weekends, evenings, and nights.
Main Responsibilities
* Prepare mise-en-place freshly and on time.
* Cook dishes according to recipes and specified quantities.
* Communicate shortages promptly to the sous chef or head chef.
* Set up workstations with ingredients and equipment.
* Prepare ingredients (chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.).
* Cook food using various utensils or grillers, monitoring while cooking.
* Present dishes attractively before serving.
* Maintain a sanitized and organized kitchen environment.
* Store food and items properly.
* Check ingredient quality.
* Monitor stock levels and place orders when needed.

Requirements
* Proven experience as a cook.
* Experience with cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
* Knowledge of various cooking methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.).
* Ability to follow sanitation procedures.
* Teamwork skills.
* Good communication skills.
* Excellent physical condition and stamina.
* Flexibility and hard work.
* Fluent in English and Spanish.
* Willingness to learn and work.
* High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma is a plus.
