Overview
The District Sales Manager will have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, be proactive, customer-focused, and motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment. The person will be self-motivated, enjoy working independently in the field, and consistently deliver great results. The candidate will work effectively across various customer levels, including distributors, dealers, and contractors, providing training, justifying solutions, and successfully selling Rain Bird irrigation products. This person will be responsible for leading sales and marketing actions to develop and gain market share in a highly competitive market.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop business with the existing distribution network in the assigned territory.Increase Rain Bird’s market share with distributors, dealers, and contractors.Conduct product demonstrations and become a product technical expert.Promote the use and purchase of Rain Bird products and services, focusing on brand conversion and customer loyalty.Establish and implement strategies and plans within the assigned territory.Make Rain Bird the most visible manufacturer to all dealers and contractors in the region.Participate in relevant events to network and generate opportunities to sell Rain Bird products.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree5+ years of progressive sales and business experienceExperience with Microsoft tools, presentations, and CRM applicationsSelf-motivated, team player, aggressive, with strong communication skillsNative Spanish and fluent English;
Catalan is a plusAvailability to travel up to 50% across eastern SpainMust be based in the Barcelona area
