The opportunity
FAAS teams provide services related to financial accounting and advisory services across various industries deploying latest, high-quality financial tools and technologies.
In FAAS GDS, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery while maintaining quality. You will be working closely with Senior/managers and interacting directly with onshore teams.
Your key role and responsibilities:
- Understanding of IFRS, GAAP conversions, accounting, and assurance concepts.
- GAAP conversions and implementation of accounting standards.
- Drafting and designing accounting policies.
- Technical accounting research and advice.
- Consolidation and compilation support.
- Financial statement close process support.
- Transaction accounting and reporting - IPOs, Carve-Outs, PPA, etc.
- Accounting change (revenue recognition and lease accounting).
Skills and attributes for success:
- Strong interpersonal and good written & oral communication skills.
- Team player, able to multitask, flexible, and work under pressure.
- Commitment to continuous learning and proactively implementing new processes.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- University degree with understanding of financial accounting and advisory concepts.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Qualified accountant - ACCA / CPA / Approval from ICAC and registered with ROAC.
- Good English (at least B2/C1) and Italian (at least B2).
