Melt Group is currently recruiting a Plant Controller for an industrial company with a production site located near Valencia. Part of an international group, this position will play a key role in overseeing the site’s financial performance, working closely with operational teams to improve visibility, control and decision‑making across the plant. We're looking for a profile with strong financial expertise, solid knowledge of industrial environments, and the ability to lead and develop a local team.
Main responsibilities:
* Act as the finance lead at plant level, managing full P&L, closings, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Monitor cost performance and provide insight on profitability by product line and process.
* Lead the preparation of financial reports, KPIs, and business reviews for the site’s leadership team.
* Supervise cost accounting, inventory control and ensure accurate financial data.
* Partner closely with operations and supply chain teams to drive performance and efficiency.
* Support investment analysis, financial planning and continuous improvement projects.
* Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with group financial procedures.
* Lead and develop the local finance and administration team.
Requirements:
* University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar.
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial roles within an industrial or manufacturing context.
* Strong background in financial control, cost analysis and business performance.
* Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.
* Fluency in both English and Spanish.
* Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
