About the Team
The PMBC team is in charge of the Strategic Procurement of the composites materials through the related MFT for the complete Airbus Group, through the Procurement Synergy Group.
The position proposed in the PMBC team is in charge of the CSG Auxiliary Materials and the A220 competitiveness improvement and offers you an opportunity to develop procurement skills in a motivating, challenging, innovating and creative technical context.
You will develop end to end business solutions directly influencing Airbus cost & EBIT contribution, looking at the big picture for your perimeter.
You will collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders based all over the world to accelerate innovations bringing value and differentiation to our customers.
You will be at the heart of the development of the new technologies and products of future and existing aircraft.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for the management of contracts throughout the full life cycle of the products.
Enforce compliance between contract terms & conditions and the activities conducted by the supplier and by Airbus.
Commit the Company by achieving the signature of contractual agreements.
Manage alignment across the different Company functions (mainly Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering) for purchased products.
Ensure professional and trusting supplier relationship management with major aeronautical industry players and uphold the Company ethics and compliance standards in all dealings.
Accountabilities

Scope
Sub-commodity “Auxiliary Materials” across all the Airbus commercial aircraft programs, including the different plants and the synergy with the complete Airbus Group.
A220 competitiveness booster on what regards composite materials.
Enablement strategy and governance.
Large number of interfaces including major multi-national suppliers and Airbus aircraft programs, Supply Chain, M&P, Customer Services, Quality, Finance, Costing and Legal teams.
The location is Getafe in Spain, with travels both nationally & internationally mainly for supplier or internal meetings.
Main Activities
Business Dimension
Work with representatives of other functions in accordance with business requirements to achieve the expected supply chain performance.
Contribute to PM Procurement, Programmes and Services profitability.
Define, update and implement the CSG strategy based on the market analysis and the company objectives, and report to the MFT Composites.
Collaborate with suppliers and other Airbus functions to accelerate innovations bringing value and differentiation for our customers and negotiate Collaboration and Research Agreements when necessary to protect Airbus IPs.
Collaborate in the optimization of materials and strategies to achieve a more sustainable use of Auxiliary Materials.
Proactively manage supply chain risks and deviations/litigations together with the Supply Chain and Quality equivalent.
Procurement Dimension
Look for cost reduction initiatives, and execute them in close cooperation with the CSG.
Implement and manage international call for tenders.
Support the rating campaign and ensure appropriate follow-up of measures.
Manage the suppliers and contracts under the scope of the AuxMat perimeter.

Project improvement plans on A220 competitiveness for composites.
Materials delivered on time, on quality and on cost in your perimeter.

Supplier selection in line with commodity strategy and Company standards.
Contractual agreements, up-to-date and compliant with the Procurement Policies.
Contractualisation of design changes at the optimum price.
Supplier risks and issues management.
Supplier rating reflecting the actual performance of the supplier.
Competencies
Hard Skills
Degree level in Engineering or Business school.
Experience in Engineering, Programmes, Procurement Operations or Customer Support with efficient project management is a plus.
Effective contract and international negotiator with proven commercial and contractual background and legal awareness.
Experience in supplier relationship Management and Procurement, or other equivalent experience in managing external and internal stakeholders.
Good technical understanding of composite materials and processes is a plus.
Negotiation level of English is required.
