We are looking for a Business Controller to join our Business Controlling & Reporting department based in Bilbao, Spain.
How you make the difference
The position will be to drive financial transparency and strategic alignment by overseeing the Group’s monthly reporting cycle and annual budgeting process, ensuring accurate performance tracking and providing actionable insights through variance analysis.
How your agenda looks like
* Monthly Reporting: Prepare monthly closing reports in close coordination with all departments to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
* Performance Analysis: Develop comprehensive reports, including detailed commentary and insights on business trends and budget variances.
* Reporting Development: Support the creation and enhancement of new financial reports and KPIs to improve business visibility.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and year-end forecasts (Last Estimates).
* Variance Tracking: Monitor business results and analyze discrepancies between actual performance and budgeted figures.
What makes you a great fit
* Education: University degree in Business Administration or similar
* Work Experience: 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (Financial Reporting for a Group). Previous experience in Audit (2–3 years) is highly valued.
* Technical Skills: In addition to Excel mastery, proficiency in Word and PowerPoint is a strong plus. Previous experience with SAP is highly recommended. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a strong plus.
* Language: Proficiency in Spanish and very high level of English, both spoken and written.
