SOTEC Consulting
is seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Python Developer to play a pivotal role within Agile delivery squads, contributing to both transformation initiatives and business-as-usual (BAU) activities. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and supporting cloud-native solutions for Contact Centre platforms, with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and automation.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience developing AWS Lambda–based solutions using Python, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and working within CI/CD pipelines. Act as a core contributor within Agile squads, supporting both transformation programs and BAU delivery.Design, develop, and maintain AWS Lambda functions using Python to support Contact Centre solutions.Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation, SAM CLI, and related tooling.Participate across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.Strong experience developing and implementing AWS Lambda functions using
Python
.Practical programming experience in
Python (mandatory) and exposure to
Java and JavaScript
.Solid understanding of the SDLC, including software design, security, cloud-native architectures, and Infrastructure as Code.Experience with AWS continuous delivery tooling such as
CloudFormation
and
SAM CLI
.Strong understanding of AWS architecture and cloud fundamentals.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
AWS certification(s).Experience working in Agile environments using
Scrum
and/or
Kanban
, with tools such as
JIRA
and
Confluence
.Training or hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI).Personal Qualities
University degree in Technology, preferably
Computer Science
or a related discipline.
