Steelmaking, Casting & Scrap Area is one R&D; department alignment with ArcelorMittal objectives to ensure tomorrow steel production, focused on new green routes, scrap optimized use, new technologies in electric routes as well as to enhance steel processes developing the most suitable solutions involved in global research projects.
We are looking for a Researcher with expertise on project management, mining, industrial or material sciences to support steelmaking, casting & scrap team in the field of green steel production route, projects related to scrap characterization, EAF routes and casting processes with new technologies development.
This research engineer will be involved in steel process transformation by leading projects and giving support to the plants to implement the most suitable solutions. This person will also interact with the whole ArcelorMittal community: Integral R&D; specialists and technicians, plant experts, corporate teams, etc. and develop collaborative research with external partners (academic laboratories, technical centers, suppliers).
**What we will need**
- **Education**:Master in Project Management, Material Science, Industrial Engineering or Minas Engineering.
- **Languages**:High level in English and Spanish
- Industrial Profile with high level of interest in technology.
- Competencies on steel production routes and material sciences.
- _Soft Skills: _Proactivity, motivation to learn and to do things. Positive attitude.
