The PhD will focus on investigating atmospheric electricity phenomena and the chemical role of lightning using space- and ground-based measurements, including data from the Meteosat Third Generation satellites, VLF / LF lightning networks, Lightning Mapping Arrays, and chemical instruments onboard MTG satellites, as well as modeling with the Weather Research and Forecasting Model (WRF). The research aims to analyze regional and global atmospheric chemical pollution, utilizing data from the Atmospheric Space Interaction Monitor (ASIM) onboard the ISS.Full-time PhD employment for 3 years, with a possible 1-year extension. Salary :
1600 EUR / month (14 payments).
