AtBasqueCulinaryCenter (BCC)andGastronomyOpenEcosystem(GOe),wearelookingf orprofessionalsfromthegastronomicfieldand/orthenutritionandhealthsector tojoinatalentpoolaimedatcovering occasionalteachingneedsacrossourdifferentlocations.
Weareseekingprofilessuchas chefscapableofdeliveringcoursesfornon-professionalaudiences, chefswithknowledgeofhealthyeating, aswellasnutritionistsorotherhealthprofessionalswithanaffinityforcooking.Itisnotessentialforallcompetenciestobeheldbyasingleperson.
Yourmission istodesign,develop, anddelivercourses,classes, andpracticalworkshopsoncookingandnutrition,aimedat diverseaudiences(bothadultsandchildren), ineducational,outreach, andexperientialcontexts.
Yourday-to-dayresponsibilitieswillinclude:
Organisingandplanningthedevelopmentofclassesand workshops incollaborationwiththecookingandnutritionareacoordinator.Deliveringcoursesand workshopsrelatedtohealthyeating,cookingadaptedtodifferentnutritionalneeds, andhealthylifestylehabits.Addressingandresolvingparticipants'questionsfromaculinaryand/ornutritionalperspective,dependingonyourprofessionalprofile.Contributingtothecreationofahigh-qualitylearningexperiencealignedwiththevaluesofBCC andGOe.
RequirementsDoyouidentifywithanyofthefollowingcharacteristics?
Professionalexperienceingastronomy(cooking,hospitality,culinarytraining) and/orinnutrition,dietetics,orhealth-relatedfields.Experiencedeliveringtraining (formalornon-formal).Solidknowledgeofhealthycooking,adaptedculinarytechniques,orthefundamentalsofnutritionandhealth.Strongsocialskillsandtheabilitytoconnectwithbothadultandchildaudiences.Proficiencyin officetools.Availabilityforoccasionalcollaborationaccordingtoprojectneeds.
Youwillstandoutifyou:
Holdahighereducationor Bachelor ́s Degreein HumanNutritionandDietetics,Gastronomy,HealthSciences,orrelatedfields.Haveknowledgeofspecialdiets,adaptedcooking,healthycookingtechniques,orspecificproducts.HaveahighlevelofBasqueand English (C1).Standoutforyourorganisationalandplanningskills.
