Role Overview

Marketing Operations is the engine that enables marketing to scale. This role is responsible for simplifying, automating, and governing the operational backbone of marketing—ensuring that strategies translate into efficient execution, measurable impact, and compliant delivery.

The Marketing Operations Manager partners closely with Marketing, GTM, COE teams to drive AI workflow design and adoption through process excellence, data integrity, and operational rigor, freeing marketers to focus on customer impact and growth and ensuring full realization of MGO in funnel creation

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Process & Execution Excellence

- Design, optimize, and govern end‑to‑end marketing processes (planning, activation, and measurement).
- Ensure consistent execution of campaigns and initiatives across regions, businesses, and channels.
- Act as the operational owner for key marketing workflows, build AI-led workflows, ensuring clarity, accountability, and speed.

Tools, Data & Automation

- Partner with Marketing Technology and Analytics teams to enable tools, systems, and data that support scalable marketing execution.
- Drive adoption and continuous improvement of marketing platforms (planning, automation, reporting).
- Leverage automation and AI‑enabled capabilities to reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.
- IP Marketing POC for HP.com – liaison with HP.com team to improve on-page performance, website architecture, AEO/GEO deployment.

Measurement & Performance Management

- Establish operational KPIs and dashboards to track marketing effectiveness and execution health.
- Support performance reviews by providing clear, actionable insights on spend, activity, and outcomes.
- Enable data‑driven decision‑making across marketing leadership and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Partnership & Enablement

- Serve as a trusted operational partner to campaign teams and COEs.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Regional Marketing teams, COEs, Sales Operations and Legal to ensure smooth execution.
- Enable marketers through clear guidance, training, and documentation on processes and tools.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, business operations, or a related function within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong understanding of marketing planning, budgeting, and execution processes.
- Experience working with marketing technology platforms, reporting tools, and financial systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and operational rigor.
- Eager to pursue training to keep skills up-to-date

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in B2B, enterprise, or global marketing organizations.
- Familiarity with marketing automation, demand generation, and campaign operations.
- Experience driving process simplification, automation, or transformation initiatives.
- Strong executive communication skills and comfort working with senior stakeholders.
