About Muppy
Muppy is a Spanish proptech company in the flex-living segment, managing 700+ rooms for students and young professionals across multiple cities, with an aggressive scale-up plan. We combine best-in-class tools across commercial (CRM, email marketing, customer messaging), operations (ERP), telephony, and transactional email, and we are continuously building the internal tooling, integrations, and analytics that knit them together. We are a small, technically ambitious team that values ownership, evidence over opinion, and speed of iteration.
The Role
Mission
Make Muppy operate more efficiently as it scales. Map how we work today across every department, find the gaps, design better processes, and drive their adoption. You are an internal consultant whose job is to leave the company better organized every quarter.
Reports to
Head of Performance, with cross-functional engagement with every department head.
Responsibilities
- Map current processes across Operations, Finance, Sales, Growth, and Real Estate using a consistent methodology.
- Identify bottlenecks, manual work, and points of friction; quantify their cost. • Design improved processes and the operational KPIs that measure them.
- Specify automation requirements and work with the Software Engineer and external tools to implement them.
- Lead the change-management side of process rollout: documentation, training, adoption tracking.
- Run periodic process reviews to ensure improvements stick and don't degrade.
Must-have
- Strong analytical and structured-thinking skills (ability to decompose ambiguous problems into a clear diagnosis).
- Comfortable with process mapping notations (BPMN, flowcharts, swimlanes) — formal training not required, but the logic must be solid.
- Strong written communication: you will produce process docs, decision memos, and training materials.
- Stakeholder management: ability to interview operators, push back constructively, and align diverging views.
- Written and spoken English at working level (operational interviews and process documentation happen predominantly in Spanish; English is needed for leadership communication and cross-functional work).
Nice-to-have
- Basic SQL and data literacy (you will need to look at numbers, not only ask for them).
- Exposure to any process improvement framework (Lean, Six Sigma, theory of constraints, etc.).
- Familiarity with low-code automation tools.
- Project management experience, even informal (university project lead, NGO, internship).
