Experteer Overview In this role you design and implement scalable, cloud-based software for the Siemens ProductCERT SBOM service. You will work within an international team to deliver high-performance APIs and data-driven solutions, balancing reliability with security. You contribute to end-to-end lifecycle and performance optimization, collaborating across cross-functional groups. The position offers hands-on cloud architecture and exposure to modern data pipelines in a flexible, hybrid setup.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Architect, design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant software with a strong emphasis on API development
- Contribute to end-to-end lifecycle including performance tuning, feature delivery, and rapid bug/security issue resolution
- Design resilient cloud architectures to minimize downtime and scale with growing infrastructure
- Optimize data ingestion, processing and retrieval for low latency and high throughput with performance testing
- Select and optimize relational, NoSQL, graph databases and data lakes to support data needs
- Write clean, well-tested code following security standards and architectural guidelines
- Stay updated on new data processing and distributed systems technologies and evaluate new toolsResponsabilidades
- 5+ years in software engineering, development, or software architecture for cloud-based scalable apps
- Proficiency in Python, Java or Go for backend development (Python strongly preferred)
- Experience with API-focused web frameworks (e.G., FastAPI) including versioning, rate limiting, and auth
- Strong problem solving with data structures/algorithms; knowledge of graph theory is a plus
- Understanding of architectural patterns (serverless, microservices, etc.) and distributed transactions
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including graph databases, and caching
- Familiarity with webhooks, event-driven integrations, idempotency, payload validation, callbacks
- Experience with performance monitoring, bottleneck analysis, memory leak detection and metrics
- Knowledge of resilience engineering and fault-tolerance practices
