Role Purpose
Grow with us as a Category Associate in our Iberia Sales team. Learn with us whilst providing a full Category Management service for key accounts, developing actionable insights to sell and implement customer-specific Category Strategies to drive category and Kellogg's growth. HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
* The Category Associate will work with an energetic business team to contribute to Drive Category Management across customer teams to increase sales and achieve customer business targets.
* Execute our category strategy within customers, focusing on segmentation, flow, brand blocking, and multi-location product siting.
* Develop best-in-class category relationships to unlock growth opportunities, improving business performance through channel & Customer strategy.
* Deep dive into the Category and players to understand their strategies, positioning in the market, customer analytics, and trends.
* Provide input into innovation plans through your understanding of the market and customers, helping account teams to sell new products.
* Manage our product portfolio within customers to grow distribution and drive sales.
* Approach all business questions and opportunities via four angles: Internal, Retailer, Consumer, and Competition, becoming a partner for the multi-functional team.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
* FMCG background
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
* Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Trade, Category Management, or similar, in FMCG marketing agencies (IRI; Nielsen)
* Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to translate data into compelling insights
* High level of Excel management
* Fluent in English
* Collaborate easily with different functions (Sales, Market Activation, Finance, BU...) to achieve objectives/results
* Excellent communication, presentation, & influencing skills with a proven record of developing Selling Stories to engage KAMs and Customers.
