You'll join at the earliest stage and become the founding technical hire in Barcelona, working directly with an elite founding team to build the engineering culture, product and future team from the ground up.

The Founding Team You'll work alongside operators who have already built category-defining companies: CEO previously scaled a company to $250 M ARR and a $4.4 B valuation CPO previously founded and sold a billing infrastructure company to Salesforce Early engineers and advisors from Stripe, Meta & Palantir The Barcelona office will become the company's founding engineering hub in Europe.
What you'll do As Founding Engineering Lead, you'll combine hands-on building with technical leadership.
You'll: Architect and ship core product features from scratch Build systems around pricing intelligence, usage tracking, billing and margin analytics Own the full lifecycle: architecture → deployment → scale Work directly with the founders on technical strategy and product direction Define engineering culture and best practices for the Barcelona hub Hire and mentor the first local engineering team This is a role for someone who loves building fast, solving hard technical problems and having massive ownership.

Ideal background: 7+ years in software engineering Experience in high-growth startups or scale-ups Strong backend fundamentals + ability to work across the stack Experience shipping production systems end-to-end Exposure to complex infrastructure, billing, payments, usage tracking or distributed systems Leadership potential: mentoring, technical ownership, hiring involvement Strong signals: Experience at companies like Stripe, Palantir, Meta or top-tier infrastructure startups Founding engineer experience Fintech / infra / developer tools background AI-native workflow and strong leverage from AI tools Why join now?
