This is a freelance/contractor position, so you’ll be responsible for managing your own taxes and invoicing. Fully remote work from anywhere. The role involves managing 4-5 websites, compensated at a set hourly rate.
Join us as a Google Merchant Center Specialist at Forga.io! We’re seeking a skilled freelancer to manage and optimize Google Merchant Center accounts for various e-commerce websites. This project-based role requires expertise in GMC, handling organic product listings, troubleshooting disapprovals, and enhancing product visibility.
You will collaborate with our tech, content, and marketing teams to ensure product feeds, improve organic performance, and maximize exposure across Google Shopping. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience fixing feed issues, strong SEO skills, and a deep understanding of e-commerce product structures.
Responsibilities:
* Set up, configure, and manage Google Merchant Center accounts
* Create, update, and optimize product feeds
* Troubleshoot feed errors, disapprovals, and policy violations
* Optimize product data (titles, descriptions, images, categories)
* Monitor diagnostics and resolve issues promptly
* Update and improve product feeds regularly
* Ensure proper syncing between Google Merchant Center and Google Ads
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure feed accuracy and consistency
Qualifications:
* Experience with GMC, including fixing disapprovals and feed optimization
* Strong SEO knowledge
* Understanding of e-commerce product structures
