We are looking for a Platform Lead specialized in Digital Commerce to be part of the Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team.

The Role
As a Commerce Platform Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Digital Commerce solution that powers Nespresso’s business. You will operate within a dynamic direct-to-customer environment, with significant volumes of traffic and an extensive feature set. You will be part of a large and innovative development organization, directly influencing the success of our online business.
Key responsibilities of the Commerce Platform Lead
* Platform Reliability and Scalability: ensure the reliability and scalability of the commerce platform; collaborate with the reliability engineering team to understand the health of the commerce solutions and plan technical evolutions to enhance the service.
* Security and Risk Management: lead security and risk management for the commerce solution, ensure compliance with Nestlé standards, and prepare for external audits.
* Driving Adoption and Developer Experience: enable adoption of platform enhancements across product squads focused on different eCommerce domains and ensure a seamless developer experience.
* Innovation and Optimization: contribute to the re-architecture initiative for the entire eCommerce landscape with a cutting-edge solution from commercetools at its core.
In This Role, You Will
* Conduct regular alignments with the Commerce Platform Supplier to understand new released features and assess their fit for Nespresso.
* Coordinate with the reliability engineering team to monitor health of the commerce solutions.
* Ensure commercetools solutions (Merchant Center, Frontend Studio and Connectors) have updated plans, align with Nestlé security / compliance standards, and enable technical evolutions and new vendor features.
* Work with Product Owners and development teams to facilitate adoption of new features from the Commerce Platform Supplier.
* Contribute to the knowledge base by creating guidelines for end-users of the commerce solution.
* Monitor commerce traffic to plan contract renewals and extensions.
* Act as a commercetools Subject Matter Expert for future needs.
* Drive innovation by leveraging new technologies to renovate and transform the core technology base.
What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* More than 5 years of experience in relevant areas; ideal 3-5 years in digital commerce development and 2-3 years in commercetools platform leadership.
* Proven experience in leading a technical platform and managing business stakeholders.
* Ability to understand long-term and short-term perspectives of situations.
* Effective communication in English at different levels in the organization.
Extra Skills That Set You Apart
* Experience with commercetools is essential, but other eCommerce platforms with MACH architecture are valuable.
* Passion for technology and software development to bridge technical and non-technical audiences in a large organization.
* Deep understanding of agile methods and processes.
* Experience working in a global environment with virtual teams.
