Who We're Looking For We are seeking a Technical Product Manager with a dual focus: a deep architectural mastery of Crypto Buy/Sell and Trading Systems (order execution, pricing engines, liquidity routing, and fiat gateways) and a hands-on obsession with Transactional Integrity. You will work directly with the Head of Product to define the product logic behind our order execution and brokerage workflows. You won't just manage tickets; you will own the end-to-end product logic driving our core transaction experiences and serve as a proactive voice for new features. If you understand the technical nuances of how liquidity providers, execution venues, and spreads work, can map out complex order routing logic in BPMN, and have the vision and initiative to transform these complex mechanics into innovative, simple products for mainstream adoption, this role is for you. What You'll Be Doing Product Strategy and Execution: Work with the CEO and Head of Product to understand and execute Venga's product vision and development roadmap. Product Innovation for Mainstream Adoption: Proactively identify market trends, champion new ideas, and propose innovative retail features or functionalities that simplify the crypto experience. You will drive initiatives that lower the barrier to entry for everyday users, transforming complex financial workflows into seamless, local, and trustworthy tools that accelerate mass-market adoption. Full Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and iteration, ensuring effective prioritisation throughout the process. Backlog and Roadmap Ownership: Act as the primary backlog owner, creating and prioritising user stories while maintaining a clear product roadmap. Epic and Story Definition: Split product features into epics and write detailed, technical descriptions for each user story to ensure they are ready for engineering. Backend Transactional Architecture: Design and document end-to-end buy, sell, and swap transaction lifecycles. You will be responsible for the backend logic that connects internal ledgers with external liquidity providers and execution venues using BPMN. Fee and Spread Engineering: Take full ownership of the pricing, markup, and fee logic. You will analyse how spreads, execution costs, and broker fees impact user pricing, ensuring our internal calculation logic is accurate, profitable, and robust across all supported asset pairs. Order Execution Architecture: Lead the backend logic for our order execution and routing workflows. This includes architecting the flows for market and limit orders, managing price slippage tolerance, handling multi-party trade execution, and ensuring the high-precision handling of exchange rates. Money Flow Analysis: Act as the guardian of the Flow of Funds. You will dive deep into backend data to audit transaction logs, reconcile internal balances with external liquidity providers, custodians, and fiat gateways, and ensure every asset movement is accounted for with zero margin for error. Ledger and API Integrity: Define the requirements for our core transactional APIs. You will ensure communication between our backend, liquidity venues, and market data feeds is seamless, handling edge cases like stale quotes, execution timeouts, price spikes, or third-party connectivity delays. Who You Are & What You'll Need You have between 3 and 5 years of experience as a Product Manager / Product Owner. Core Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Crypto ecosystem, specifically order execution lifecycles, liquidity routing mechanics, pricing and spread structures, and fiat gateway integrations. You have rich experience in product metrics and analytics, and can help set up tracking from scratch. Prior work experience in a startup environment in crypto and Web3 is a huge plus. A very high level of English. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or other relevant qualification. Product Management and UX Certifications will give you an advantage. Excellent planning and project management skills with experience in agile methodologies and the Scrum framework. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and are ready to get involved in multiple processes simultaneously. You are exceptionally well organised and can stay calm when working to tight deadlines. You can break complex problems into viable and actionable chunks and solve each problem accurately and effectively. Your time zone must be within CET +/- 2 hours.
