Position Overview

We seek a Payroll Coordinator responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing, managing payroll systems, calculating wages, and ensuring legal compliance. The role demands attention to detail, organizational skills, and effectiveness in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities
* Calculate wages, deductions, and withholdings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Enter payroll data accurately and verify reports before processing.
* Review and reconcile payroll transactions, including adjustments and benefits.
* Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and submit required filings.
* Administer employee benefits related to payroll deductions.
* Coordinate with HR and benefits providers for enrollments and changes.
* Maintain and update payroll records and employee profiles.
* Troubleshoot system issues and resolve discrepancies.
* Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
* Assist with payroll audits and identify process improvements.
* Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT for system enhancements.
Candidate Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
* At least 2 years of payroll processing or administration experience.
* Knowledge of payroll principles, tax laws, and wage regulations.
* Proficiency in payroll software like ADP, Paychex, etc.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and professionalism.
* Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
* Knowledge of MS Excel and office tools.
Conditions of Employment
