We have an opportunity for a Senior Sales Representative to join our **Modular System and Field Instrumentation** team in Madrid to support the South European region.
As a Senior Sales Representative you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and System Integrators, driving sales performance, and executing strategic sales plans.
This position requires both strategic thinking and tactical execution to enhance the company’s market position and achieve financial growth.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

Account & Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and system integrators.
Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Sales Strategy & Execution:** Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to optimize performance.
Monitor sales targets and adjust tactics accordingly.
**3.
Business Development & Lead Generation:** Target new clients and expand the customer base.
Use research, networking, and events to identify prospects.
Conduct tailored sales presentations and product demonstrations.
**4.
Negotiation & Closing:** Lead contract negotiations ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Overcome objections and close profitable sales deals.
**5.
Team Collaboration & Professional Growth:** Mentor junior sales staff and share best practices.
Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
Stay updated on industry trends and pursue continuous learning.
**KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
+ 5–7 years in sales/technical sales with a strong performance record.
2–3 years selling automation products (PLCs, SCADA, RTUs, DCS, field instrumentation).
+ Experience managing key accounts and leading sales teams.
Strong understanding of industrial automation across various verticals.
+ Excellent negotiation, networking, and persuasive communication skills.
+ Skilled in delivering tailored presentations to diverse audiences.
+ Ability to mentor internal teams and external partners (System Integrators).
+ Strong analytical skills for interpreting sales metrics and market trends.
+ Capable of conducting competitive analysis and deriving actionable insights.
+ Innovative and proactive in solving client and organizational challenges.
+ Comfortable working in corporate, remote, or field settings.
+ Willing to travel up to 50% across Southern Europe for client meetings and events.
+ High self-motivation and resilience under pressure.
+ Advance level of English is required, minimum C1 level.
