Amazon General Logistics (AGL) Cross Border team is responsible for providing customers with a one‑stop shop for international transportation service, offering end‑to‑end supply chain solutions. We are seeking a customer‑centric individual who wants to be part of this journey and manage daily operational tasks and customer queries. A Customs Brokerage Specialist owns daily operations for customs clearance on ocean, air, rail, and truck cross‑border shipments, communicates with freight forwarders/sellers/vendors for shipment and document preparation, monitors shipment clearance status, escalates issues when necessary, and performs data entry functions for classification, inspection, and compliance.
Key job responsibilities
Verify completeness of information upon onboarding customers.
Prepare import documentation to ensure timely release and delivery of orders.
Verify accuracy of commercial documentation and charges.
Submit documentation to regulatory agencies.
Meet daily/weekly KPI targets for entry submission and accuracy.
Collaborate with other service providers to solve shipment issues.
Collaborate with origin and destination logistics teams.
Provide 2nd‑tier support for Customer Service queries.
Basic Qualifications
Experience in international logistics, cross‑border transportation and supply chain, or U.S. Customs rules and regulations.
Knowledge of Excel at a basic level (e.g., UX navigation, math & logical functions, lookup functions).
Work 40 hours/week, with overtime as required.
Experience performing accurate data entry and analysis.
2+ years of customs entry writing experience with a proven track record handling complex, high‑value shipments; experience with premium/VIP account management and familiarity with special handling requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
High school or equivalent diploma.
Licensed customs broker.
Experience in customs.
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or business.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. Hourly pay ranges include the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select.
Colorado $40,300 - $70,600 annually / hourly
National $36,300 - $77,600 annually / hourly
For salaried roles, your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. For hourly roles, as a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses.
