JBC Soldering, S.L. is a general company with more than 95 years of experience in manufacturing soldering equipment and tools for professional electronics. Among our clients are some of the world’s leading technology companies in sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace, Medical Electronics, and Defense. Headquartered in Molins de Rei (Barcelona), the company also has subsidiaries in the USA, Mexico, China, and India.
As part of the growth of our organization and the management of strategic technical projects, we are looking for a Project Leader to ensure the successful execution of electronic design projects involving internal multidisciplinary teams and external engineering partners.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical projects ensuring control of scope, schedule, and budget throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plan, monitor, and track project progress, ensuring milestones, objectives, and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and manage external engineering collaborators, acting as the main operational interface with JBC.
- Lead the definition, management, and validation of engineering requirements and system specifications.
- Perform stakeholder management, ensuring alignment between internal departments and external partners.
- Coordinate hardware and firmware development teams, working closely with Mechanical, Production, Purchasing, and interfacing Sales and other internal departments.
- Perform vertical reporting to management.
- Actively search and evaluate new external engineering partners.
- Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring proper follow-up of actions and decisions.
Requirements :
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related degree.
- High level of English, both written and spoken.
- Experience or strong knowledge of Project Management in technical or industrial environments.
- Technical background in hardware design, firmware development or electromechanical product development.
- Experience working with external engineering suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Solid understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and control methodologies.
- Experience in requirements definition and system-level engineering coordination.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Project Manager / Project Leader in industrial or engineering projects.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, Waterfall or similar).
