We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Airlines Industry to support the analysis and implementation of business requirements related to Order Manager in the context of IATA’s New Distribution Capability (NDC), and One Order standards. The SME will also play a key role in the integration of Order Manager with the Passenger Service System (PSS).
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze and interpret business requirements related to Order Manager functionalities.
* Provide expert guidance on the application of IATA NDC and One Order standards.
* Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure alignment of Order Manager capabilities with industry standards.
* Define integration requirements and support the implementation of Order Manager with the Passenger Services System.
* Identify gaps and propose enhancements to support end-to-end order lifecycle management.
* Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of Order Manager functionalities.
* Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
* Proven experience in the airline industry, particularly in distribution, order management and PSS systems.
* Deep understanding of IATA NDC and One Order.
* Hands-on experience with Order Manager platforms and PSS integration.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with airline retailing transformation projects.
* Familiarity with XML/JSON messaging standards used in NDC.
* Knowledge of airline revenue accounting and settlement processes.
