A medium-sized Auditing & Accounting firm based in Pretoria East (Lynnwood area) requires an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant. If you want to work in a friendly environment, have the necessary experience, and can effortlessly deal with SARS queries, we would like you to apply!
Duties & Responsibilities
DUTIES

* Accounting up to Trial balance (preferably XERO or Sage one accounting)
* VAT201’s and VAT reconciliations
* Payroll up to reconciliation – EMP201 and EMP501’s (Simplepay)
* SARS related tasks including:
o VAT and other registrations
o PAYE and UIF registrations
o Income tax, provisional tax and other submissions
o Disputes handling
o NOO (Notice of objections)
o NOA (Notice of appeals)
o RFR (Request for remissions)
* SARS meetings (teams or in person) to settle disputes and submit documentation for registrations etc.
* SARS compromise agreements
* Financial statements preparation (preferably Caseware) – Not a necessity but will be advantageous.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
* Matric, preferably with currently studying or completed financial qualification.
* At least 3 years experience in duties as above (if no formal qualification)
* Fluency in English and Afrikaans
