From our logistics hub in Valencia we supply ethnic supermarkets, independent grocers, restaurants and regional wholesalers across the Iberian Peninsula. Role Summary
We are seeking a highly responsible and autonomous Field Sales Representative to manage our operations across Spain, with regular coverage into Portugal. This is a territory‑based role that requires discipline, punctuality and the ability to work 100% in the field.
Typical Weekly Structure
* 3 to 4 days on the road visiting existing accounts and prospecting new clients.
* Presenting new product lines and seasonal ranges to professional buyers.
* Negotiating order volumes, pricing and logistics terms.
* Daily pipeline updates and periodic strategy check‑ins with senior management.
Core Responsibilities
* Prospect and convert new ethnic retail, restaurant and wholesale accounts across Spain and Portugal.
* Manage and expand a high‑value portfolio of existing accounts.
* Ensure 100% accuracy in administrative reporting and order documentation.
* Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets and new account milestones.
* Monitor competitor activity to provide actionable market intelligence.
Candidate Profile
* Experience: 2 to 4 years of field sales experience in FMCG, food distribution or wholesale.
* Reliability: absolute punctuality and commitment to daily field presence.
* Detail‑Oriented: ability to manage complex pricing, orders and logistics documentation without errors.
* Adaptability: capacity for learning new product ranges and navigating diverse cultural business environments.
* Languages: Fluent Spanish required; proficiency in English, Arabic, Urdu, Punjabi, Somali or Portuguese is advantageous.
* Logistics: valid driving license mandatory; prepared for regular travel with occasional overnight stays.
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
* Monthly revenue targets per territory.
* Number of new accounts activated per quarter.
* Account retention and average order value (AOV) growth.
* Visit frequency compliance for tiered accounts.
