We are looking for an engineer with business development experience in the solar energy sector. This role is crucial to the growth and success of our company, requiring solid industry knowledge, a thorough understanding of our products and services, and familiarity with our customer portfolio. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Strengthening relationships with existing customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and promoting our products and services.
* Acquiring new customers, analyzing new market segments, and exploring potential customer bases within the solar energy sector.
* Opening new international markets.
* Maintaining and updating the customer database, along with proactive communication with clients.
Skills Required for Success
* Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the solar energy industry, including technologies, products, and market trends.
* Software: Proficiency in Hubspot or other CRM platforms.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of presenting our offerings clearly and persuasively.
* Results Orientation: Strong focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets, with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing and management teams.
* Autonomy: Ability to work independently, make decisions, and take responsibility for actions without supervision.
Candidate Profile
* Degree: Degree in industrial engineering, electrical, mechanical, telecommunications, or related fields.
* Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
* Sales Experience: Minimum of 3 years proven experience in sales or business development within the solar energy sector.
