Please be aware that this role will be temporary covering a maternity leave.Role Purpose:
The primary purpose of this role is to manage end-to-end and pep+/ Sustaiability communications, internal and external, making their added value tangible both internally and externally -media and customers-. It also coordinates Social impact projects. In a fast-paced environment, the main goal is to engage multiple stakeholders in the company’s strategy, focusing on topics such as regenerative agriculture, emission reductions, logistics, and plant operations. For the frontline communications, the role is not responsible for internal brand activity activations, but also to cascade global- corporate and local market unit key information to the frontline population, taking care of materials preparation, HRBPs coordination and message adaptation.
External Responsibilities:
Highlight company milestones in the media, to customers, and other external stakeholders. Including press releases, stakeholders event, external social media.Internal Responsibilities:
Partner with Plant Managers, Agriculture, and the entire Supply Chain functions. At Market Unit level, West Europe and EMEA region-wide.
Manage content across various company channels (newsletter, Town Halls, etc.).
Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Iberia Internal Communications Manager.
Dotted line reporting to the External Communications Manager, and punctually to the Sustainability Manager and to the Public Affairs and social impact Manager.
Provides services to the three main regional markets: Spain and Portugal. Acts as the focal point for stakeholders in these three countries.
Responsibilities
1. Accountability is based on project-based and focused mainly (not only) on responding to execution needs from main area: Supply Chain / sustainability projects.
2. Elaborates the yearly Communication plan: internal and external.
3. Responsible to manage and spread all E2E company activity and coordinate / issue on the external and internal channels (including channels such as twitter, Linkedin, newsletter, yammer, screens, etc.).
4. Activates “always on” and delivers proper action plans: employee engagement activities, contents in all internal channels / press releases, press conference, media interviews, media production, etc.
5. Events organization and execution: all-hands, presentations preparation, technical aspects, business meetings, media events, etc.
6. Internal and external Comms KPIs global and local reporting.
7. Coordinates all the pep+ agenda in the MU as well as coordinates the Green Teams
8. Develop communications plans for social impact projects (Viva oliva, future harvest). Liaise with the PepsiCo Foundation communications and legal team to approve press releases and social media content. Spot opportunities to share our success stories internally (employee) and externally.
9. Coordinate volunteering activities on site with the support of green teams (Hunger holiday, earth month, waste warriors, etc).
10. Build reputation programmes with the food banks (as legacy from digitalization programs that close this year) in collaboration with the social impact WE lead.
11. Explore and Prepare Award nominations internal and external.
12. Support providing input to reputational reports, such as Advantage and Merco report.
13. Lead and coordinate volunteering activities in Iberia
14. Iberia Green Teams coordination
15. Coordinates PR and Internal Comms agencies on technical / Sustainability topics.
16. Keep a constant and positive relationship and liaison with several internal stakeholders: logistics managers, plant managers, global sustainability functions, Sector communications, Corporate Affairs colleagues and other relevant sustainability partners.
The role is responsible for:
17. Reaching frontliners, creating from scratch and launch communications standards for both Supply Chain and Sales, setting standards at a PepsiCo global level for this population.
18. Leading the digitalization Internal Communications agenda, including projects implementations such as AI translation continuous improvement.
19. implementation of Frontline mobile Application and screens standardization investments in factories across SWE.
Qualifications
20. University degree in Journalism, Public Relations or a related field and/or a diploma in Corporate Communications
21. Ability to create, develop and execute internal and external communication plans
22. Experience in a media and/or internal – external agency as a must
23. Proven experience on events management.
24. Proven track on employee engagement campaigns
25. Media management experience, ideally familiar with the media landscape and for Sustainability and E2E operations.
26. Solid digital skills: PWP presentations, social media, newsletters channels (internal and external)
27. Outstanding writing and proofreading
28. Spanish native level, English as a top priority and preferably Portuguese
29. Strategic communication vision, ability to provide counsel to internal stakeholders
30. Ability to create and prepare business engaging presentations.
