Vector Renewables is seeking a Market & Revenues Manager to design, build, and lead a new internal team focused on market and economic analysis within the Technical Advisory area. This role will establish a new capability from the ground up, integrating market intelligence, financial modelling, and revenue strategy into Vector Renewables’ existing technical advisory services. The successful candidate will act as both a strategic leader and hands‑on expert, responsible for creating the team, defining its structure and competencies, and ensuring its collaboration with other departments. This function will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical due diligence and commercial strategy, with a focus on PPA negotiation support, M&A; financial advisory, and revenue optimization (“revenue stacking”) for storage and hybrid renewable projects.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic development & leadership
Design, launch, and grow
the new Market & Revenue Advisory team within the Technical Advisory department.
Define the vision, scope, and service portfolio of this new internal capability.
Recruit, mentor, and develop team members with complementary expertise (market analysis, financial modelling, and PPA structuring).
Develop analytical frameworks, methodologies, and tools to assess project economics and market exposure.
Coordinate closely with other technical, financial, and market analysis teams to ensure integration and knowledge sharing.
Market and revenue modelling
Build and maintain economic and revenue models for renewable generation and energy storage assets (stand‑alone and co‑located).
Evaluate potential market revenues from energy sales, capacity markets, ancillary services, and other revenue streams.
Analyse energy price risks, market dynamics, and regulatory developments in key European and integral power markets.
Transactional and commercial support
Provide expert input in
Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
structuring, pricing, and negotiation.
Support
technical and financial due diligences
in
M&A;, project finance, and refinancing
processes.
Contribute to asset valuation exercises and financial modelling, integrating technical performance and market assumptions.
Client interaction and business development
Act as a senior advisor to investors, lenders, developers, and utilities.
Collaborate in the preparation of proposals and the creation of new market‑driven advisory services.
Represent Vector Renewables in industry forums, reinforcing the company’s position as a leading integrated advisory partner in the energy transition.
Key Requirements
Education
Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
Postgraduate studies (Master’s) in Energy, Finance, or Applied Economics are highly valued.
Professional experience
8–10+ years of experience
in the energy sector, ideally in consulting, utilities, energy trading, or investment environments.
Proven experience in:
Financial and revenue modelling for renewable and storage projects.
PPA structuring and pricing (merchant, corporate, or utility).
Market revenue forecasting and risk assessment.
Analysis of ancillary services, flexibility markets, and capacity mechanisms.
Experience in building, leading, and scaling teams
will be considered a key differentiator.
Technical knowledge
Solid understanding of key European power markets (especially Spain, Italy and Portugal).
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with Python or other modelling tools.
Familiarity with power market simulation and price forecasting tools.
Personal skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create and grow a new internal business line.
Strategic and analytical thinker with strong commercial acumen.
