Responsibilities
* Proactively visit customers to identify opportunities to keep the installed base up to date by offering solutions from the GEA Portfolio.
* Prepare and follow‑up on commercial proposals for spare parts, service level and maintenance agreements, health checks, upgrades and retrofits.
* Execute the GEA Service strategy and GEA Service sales plan in close collaboration with the team.
* Provide support to customers on technical clarification of the requirement, acting as a key interface between Sales, Service and internal stakeholders.
* Manage warranty cases in coordination with internal departments and factories.
* Support maintenance planning activities and spare parts identification for service agreements.
* Handle order confirmations, ensure accurate processing and follow‑up on deliveries to guarantee on‑time delivery.
* This role will act as a key interface within a fast‑growing organization with the potential to grow into a pure sales position in mid‑term.
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering or related technical field, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
* Professional (Junior) experience in sales and service support roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or industrial manufacturing industry.
* Solid communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Strong organizational and analytical skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured manner.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross‑functional teams.
* Service‑oriented mindset with a proactive, solution‑driven approach to problem solving.
* Fluent Spanish and professional working proficiency in English; Portuguese is considered a plus.
* Strong customer focus, able to understand customer needs and translate them into effective internal actions.
* Proactive attitude towards spare parts, retrofit and service sales promotion.
* Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 30%) for customer visits, site activities or internal coordination.
* High level of ownership and accountability, with a collaborative and team‑oriented mindset.
* Ability to work closely with Sales and Service teams to support market awareness and business development initiatives.
