Frontend Engineer | AI Start-up | | React / Next.js / Typescript | 7-Month fixed-term Contract

This is a Hybrid opportunity working out of Zaragoza.
Required Qualifications
* 1–4 years of experience building modern web applications using React (or Next.js) and TypeScript.
* Strong foundation in component-based design, state management (Redux, Zustand, or Recoil), and responsive UI frameworks (Tailwind, ShadCN, or Material UI).
* Experience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs and visualizing data from backend systems.
* Solid understanding of frontend performance optimization and user experience design principles.
* Experience collaborating with product and design teams to create intuitive, research-driven interfaces.
* Comfortable working in fast iteration cycles — transforming experimental concepts into robust, usable internal tools.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience building analytics dashboards or R&D workflow UIs (experiment tracking, benchmarking, pipeline monitoring).
* Familiarity with LLM tooling (Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI SDKs) or AI productivity interfaces.
* Experience with data visualization (Recharts, Plotly, ECharts) and storytelling through data.
* Understanding of authentication flows (JWT, OAuth2) and API consumption patterns.
* Product sensibility — ability to balance technical feasibility, UX quality, and R&D needs.
* Interest in building the interfaces that bridge ML research and automation infrastructure.
