Business Development Representative – Madrid
Visa is a global leader in payments and technology. As a Business Development Representative you will drive high‑volume lead generation, qualify new opportunities, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to close new business in the Madrid market.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute Visa’s Demand Response go‑to‑market motion, focusing on prioritized customer segments and solutions.
* Generate high‑volume inbound and outbound leads, efficiently uncovering and qualifying high‑value sales opportunities.
* Qualify leads and identify key personas and decision‑makers across various buying groups.
* Leverage go‑to‑market tools and technology to research, engage, and qualify leads while maintaining accurate records in Visa’s CRM.
* Build and nurture strong client relationships across phone, email, LinkedIn, and social channels.
* Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets and KPIs.
* Collaborate with sales leadership, B2B marketing, and product organizations to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
* Communicate Visa’s value proposition across multiple products, overcoming client objections.
* Test new markets, positioning Visa’s products and services to previously unaware prospects.
* Incorporate customer delivery motions aligned with industry best practices to scale modern Demand Response.
Qualifications
* Minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience.
* Interest in a long‑term sales career and ability to work independently and across a matrixed organization.
* Fluent in English and at least one of Italian, French, German, Polish, or Portuguese.
* Experience with CRM platforms (MS Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) required.
* Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Strong organizational skills, prioritizing and multitasking daily.
* Excellent communication skills with interpersonal effectiveness.
* Ability to interface with all levels of management, clients, and peers.
