Your Role
As a Category Manager for Personal Care, you will drive category growth and strategy on our marketplace in Spain. You'll own business planning, seller operations, and marketing activation, leveraging market insights to optimize product assortment, boost demand, and enhance seller performance. With a strategic mindset and hands‐on approach, you'll lead cross‐functional projects, collaborate with key brands, and shape innovative commerce solutions in a dynamic, fast‐paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
Category Strategy & Business Planning: Develop annual category development and operational plans, conduct performance analysis, and continuously adapt strategies to market trends.
Product Assortment & Selection Strategy: Analyze consumer demand, negotiate and onboard relevant sellers, and plan seasonal promotion calendars.
Seller Operations & Development: Evaluate seller performance, segment sellers, design operational strategies, and drive growth through store optimization.
Demand Generation: Collaborate to increase category visibility and sales performance through promotional campaigns and traffic acquisition initiatives.
Marketing Activation: Lead the annual category marketing plan in coordination with the marketing team and explore innovative social‐commerce models.
Project Management: Identify, lead, and coordinate cross‐functional projects, manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring clear structure and timely delivery.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (an MBA is advantageous).
4–8 years of professional experience in category management within the Personal Care sector, with strong knowledge of the Spanish market and proven track record in strategic planning and operational execution.
Demonstrated expertise in e‐commerce and marketplace operations, including product assortment, page optimization, seller management, promotions, pricing, traffic generation, and demand planning.
Experience building commercial relationships and negotiating with senior stakeholders at leading brands and suppliers.
Proven ability to manage complex, cross‐functional projects and lead diverse teams toward shared goals.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience developing and managing advanced business models.
Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, resilience, and a proactive, entrepreneurial attitude.
Ability to balance strategic vision with hands‐on execution and creativity to develop innovative solutions.
Experience in process automation and scaling operational workflows.
Highly organized, detail‐oriented, results‐driven, and committed to excellence.
Fluency in English and Spanish (professional business level).
