Field Service Engineer – SpainYou will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing sensor‐based sorters for TOMRA Recycling customers in the northeastern region of Spain, while travelling throughout southeastern Spain and making occasional trips to Portugal.
All necessary training will be provided at our training centre in Germany, followed by on‐site experience with our experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities
Installation, commissioning, maintenance, optimisation and repair of sensor‐based sorters at TOMRA Recycling installation bases.
Ensuring maximum performance of TOMRA sorting systems in the field.
Delivering exceptional customer experiences through effective communication and support.
Optimising sorting systems/processes by sampling and testing.
Identifying opportunities to add value to customers' businesses through complementary TOMRA products, solutions and services.
Acting as a link between customers and headquarters by collecting and providing market feedback.
Qualifications
Completed secondary technical school (FP2) or higher with a specialization in electrician/electronics, automatics, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
Reside within approximately 150 km of Alicante's main airport.
Willingness to travel 85 % from the second year on within your working area, across Spain, and occasional trips to Portugal.
Willingness to travel 100 % in the first year due to training requirements.
Work experience in an industrial environment focused on on‐site preventive and curative maintenance (big plus).
In‐depth knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in computer programs, PC configuration, and network structures.
Strong communication skills when dealing with customers.
Native Spanish speaker and proficient English speaker.
Full clean driving licence required.
Knowledge of recycling processes is a plus.
