This key service of our business allows us to fulfill and ship orders efficiently so that our customers receive their items on time. As a Change Manager, you will ensure that your site functions perfectly to meet the demands of our customers. You will take on a number of projects across our network to drive productivity.
Responsibilities Lead process improvement projects, engaging stakeholders, and aligning goalsOversee and manage the site's investment and process improvement budgets to drive impactful enhancementsLead the site's Non-inventory Supplies and Waste Management teamCollaborate with the Leadership Steering Committee to prioritize and implement improvement initiativesFostering a culture of continuous improvement through root cause analysis, Standard Work, 5S, and Andon
A day in the life Your day will be varied. Some days will be at a delivery station learning from our customers in Operations, some will be working on design standards for the next generations of Delivery Stations, some will be working on a new concept/design to improve Amazon associate experience, and others will be managing large-scale deployment projects for our customers. You would also be working with partners from Operations, Process Improvement, Health and Safety, Ergonomics, Finance, Procurement and external vendors to design and deploy new equipment and processes in AMZL Delivery Stations. This will require management of a large number of diverse stakeholders, strong autonomy and the ability to work in ambiguity. You will also lead regular communication with executors, project sponsors and senior leaders, requiring detail-oriented, technical and business reporting.
Basic Qualifications A degreeProven experience in quality management and process optimization, ideally in manufacturing, production, or logistics settingExperience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and managementSignificant experience using data and business writing skills to influence the decision-making processAdvanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of a statistics program (e.g., Minitab) and SQLKnowledge of project management tools (e.g., Asana, Playbook)Experience in customer fulfillment operations is an advantage
