As a Business Development Manager in our Madrid Hub you significantly contribute to the exploration of new markets for Celonis. As part of our management team you manage, motivate and drive a high-performing business development team that will generate new leads, qualify opportunities for our Account Executives and thus will have a major impact into our business development in the EMEA region. You will also be responsible for onboarding new joiners, coaching team members and creating an inspiring team culture.
The Role:
As a Business Development Manager in our Madrid Hub, you'll lead a team exploring new markets and driving growth in the EMEA region. Your role involves managing the team, generating leads, and fostering a culture of excellence.
The work you’ll do:
* Hire, train, and manage a team of Business Development Representatives whose role consists of prospecting, pipeline building, and opportunity identification
* Lead the exploration of new markets for Celonis within the EMEA region
* Motivate, drive and develop a high-performing business development team into the next generation of sales talent
* Regularly report on team/team member results - quantity & quality of pipeline/leads and revenue to Sales Managers
* Establish and nurture relationships with Key Stakeholders
* Onboard new team members and provide coaching and support.
* Cultivate a positive and inspiring team culture focused on collaboration and innovation
The qualifications you need:
* Have a proven track record in business development and sales
* Possess a deep understanding of the EMEA market dynamics and have a demonstrated ability to generate new leads and opportunities
* Are results-oriented and able to effectively lead and motivate a team to achieve and exceed targets
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
* Are passionate about coaching and mentoring team members, and creating a positive culture
