About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid within the F&B Department, the RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR oversees daily operations, ensures excellent customer service, supervises staff performance, maintains cleanliness and safety standards, handles customer inquiries or complaints, and supports the team in achieving service and sales goals. The RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR reports to the RESTAURANT MANAGER .

Responsibilities

* Assist the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager in supervising daily operations.
* Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and profitability are met.
* Support management in maximizing guest volume and satisfaction.
* Train, supervise, and schedule restaurant staff; handle payroll and shift coverage.
* Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
* Implement new menus, promotions, and service initiatives.
* Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment and support staff development.
* Maintain adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards.
* Inspect equipment and tools regularly for functionality and safety.
* Perform additional duties as requested by management.

Requirements

* Minimum 1 year of experience in a fine dining restaurant in a supervisory or similar role.
* Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team management abilities.
* Proficiency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
* Flexibility to work varying shifts based on business needs.
