Position: Application Service Delivery Manager (SDM)
The SDM is a key role within the IT Corporate team, responsible for defining, developing, executing, and supporting all applications within scope. The SDM manages the scope and implementation of business and IT demands, ensuring deliverables meet timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations. Responsibilities also include application support, incident management, and risk assessment.
The SDM reports operationally to the IT Portfolio Owner and provides leadership to delivery teams, manages change control, and communicates effectively with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with reference standards and best practices defined by Enterprise Architecture and Security departments.
* Validate technical designs for all application development activities.
* Ensure developments meet technical and operational requirements, overseeing vendor work when necessary.
* Coordinate with the Service Delivery Manager on legacy application improvements.
* Improve application environment management and deployment processes.
* Support critical production incident resolution as needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or Computer Science.
* Strong understanding of Software Delivery Life Cycle, Software Architecture, and best practices.
* Experience managing requirements throughout the delivery and operational lifecycle.
* Ability to simplify complex technical topics.
* Broad knowledge of technologies such as .Net C#, Angular, Vue.Js, MS Dynamics, SQL Server, Azure, Java, Spring.
* At least 5 years of full-stack web application development experience using Microsoft technologies.
* Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, Lean methodologies.
* Knowledge of SAST and SCA tools.
* Focus on delivery quality and security.
* Experience working in an international environment.
* Fluent in English.
